Díky této zásadě pak čtveřice neohrožených mušketýrů rozplétá intriky kardinála Richelieu, který chce za každou cenu sesadit z trůnu královnu Annu.

Jeho indiánský majitel jej však brzy prodá do rukou Hezouna Smithe, který si velmi dobře uvědomuje Tesákovu divokost a nechává jej zabíjet ostatní psy v krutých psích zápasech. Dokáže Tesák odolat hrubosti, s níž je s ním zacházeno a otevřít ještě své divoké srdce záchraně, která je blízko?
